Will I get a job after completing the course?
Caritas Goa provides placement assistance to eligible students who complete the programme. Speak to the Institute about the current process and opportunities.
Starting remuneration is approximately ₹15,000/month and above, depending on placement, duties, experience and work schedule. Actual pay varies.
For certain live-in home-care assignments, yes — provided by the patient’s family. This depends on the individual placement, and all arrangements should be understood beforehand.
Caritas Goa assesses caregiving requirements and the proposed placement before connecting a trained home nurse with a family. You’ll be briefed on the placement before accepting it.

Absolutely — male caregivers are especially valuable where male patients need help with mobility, personal care, or other needs.
Home nursing skills can be valuable elsewhere in India and potentially abroad — but overseas work depends on that country’s laws, immigration and qualification requirements. The Institute doesn’t imply automatic overseas employment.
Not necessarily. The Goa certification confirms course completion — applicants interested in overseas work should separately verify that country’s requirements.
What documents do I need to apply?

Typically: last qualification, birth/identity proof, passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate, Aadhaar card, plus any document the certifying authority requires.
